For about 10 days, we had a run of beautiful sunny weather... in Seattle! It was cold, but the sun felt oh so wonderful. Luckily, we live by a beautiful park called Big Fin Hill. BFH has mountain biking trails, walking trails, and lots and lots of green space. Eliza led the charge up the hiking path, stopping often to examine the mud or a leaf. Mommy had to intervene when she tried to slide down an the side of the hill, taking one for the team (stinging nettle). I think we have a mini naturalist on our hands.

Eliza has also been getting into the holiday spirit by dressing in her finest each day for daycare. On Wednesday, this is what I dropped her off in:
When I arrived to pick her up, she was dressed in something... quite different. Kind of tomboyish. Not very Elizaish. (Let's just say that we called her "Pat" for the rest of the evening).
We are down to one week before we head to Montana for Christmas. We are so excited; visions of lying on the couch, watching TV, and stuffing our faces with food is dancing in our heads.
